Vince Consiglio
Suzanne Savickas Scholarship Recipient
Vince earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Akron in 2016, and is currently working to complete his M.A.Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Kent State University. Vince Has dedicated a significant portion of his two and a half years at Kent State studying under Mark and Suzanne Savickas as well as with other faculty involved with the Career Construction Institute to orient his professional practice towards Life Design Counseling and Career Construction. Vince currently works as a graduate assistant for the Office of Diversity Outreach and Development, within the College of Education Health and Human Services at Kent State University. Through his role as a graduate assistant, he has had the opportunity to incorporate concepts of Life Designing and Career Construction to serve students from predominantly underrepresented populations at Kent State University. In the past, Vince has participated in research exploring community feelings about college and career readiness initiatives being used in high schools across the nation, and has current research interests in career adaptability, and work trauma. |
