Amy Huff

John Orr Crites Academic Scholar Award

Amy Huff is a recent graduate of the Counseling and Career Development master's program at Colorado State University and her focus is in career counseling. While in her internship at the University of Colorado Denver Career Center, she began to use the Career Construction Interview in her appointments with students and absolutely fell in love! She loves the beauty of hearing student's stories, and the realizations and empowerment students experience when they hear their own story told back to them. Amy is passionate concerning the need for a fundamental shift toward seeing career development as a life-long process and aims to bring that awareness throughout higher education, as well as the K-12 school system. She believes learning more about and gaining more experience in Life Design and Career Construction will continue to aid her as she continues to work with students, as well as their teachers, advisors, and parents.
