Paulo Cardoso

Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology

Paulo Cardoso is assistant professor at the Department of Psychology, University of Évora, Portugal. He teaches vocational psychology and career counseling in the Educational Psychology Master Program. Researcher of the Research Unit in Economy and Management (CEFAGE-UE), at the University of Évora, his main research interests are career development of disadvantaged populations and the process of change in career counseling. On this subject he has published on client’s change in Life Design Counseling. In addition to his teaching and research, he maintains career counseling practice at the University of Évora. Paulo Cardoso is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Vocational Behavior, a member of the advisory board of the International Journal for Educational and Vocational Guidance and also the secretary general of the Portuguese Society of Psychology.
