Erin feels deeply connected to the Career Construction Interview and is fortunate to have held past positions where she has been able to use Life Design Counseling on a daily basis with students in the college environment.  In her past work experiences, Erin has advised Exploratory students and has guided them in their major exploration and academic success in the Exploratory Advising Center at Kent State University and has utilized the Career Construction Interview in group settings where students learn how to embrace being both environmentally and socially adaptable while making meaningful career and life decisions.  In summer 2018, Erin had the opportunity to further her understanding of the Life Design discourse when she attended the Career Construction Institute in Kent, Ohio, courtesy of the Glenn A. Saltzman Scholarship for Leadership and Community Outreach.

Erin currently works as a Career Coordinator in Career Services at the University of Akron.  Erin is also currently pursuing a Certificate in Institutional Research and Assessment and enjoys being able to evaluate programs and connect learning objectives to measures.  Erin is thrilled to have been named to the Executive Board of the Career Construction Network and is excited to connect with the Network through Communications and Marketing.
